"I take a collaborative and person-centred approach which focuses on creating a caring and non-judgmental space for clients to discuss what brings them to therapy. Drawing upon evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practices, I tailor my approach according to the therapeutic goals of each client. I encourage clients to provide feedback in sessions and value openness within the therapeutic relationship. I have a particular interest in working with clients facing challenges associated with life transitions such as first-time parenthood, grief, loss and separation and also problematic substance and alcohol use."
