Lauren is a Registered Psychologist. Lauren works with Children, Adolescents and Adults.
Lauren's approach and therapy style is summarised below:
“I am a registered psychologist with experience providing both individual and dyadic therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I have supported clients through a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, social difficulties, parenting support, trauma, and in particular, childhood trauma and associated challenging behavioural issues.
I believe flexibility and adaptability on part of the clinician are crucial to providing a client-centred experience, and as such, am able to provide a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment-based therapy, emotion-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills training taken from dialectical behaviour therapy. I provide a safe, open, and non-judgemental environment for clients to reflect on their day-to-day experiences and consider how their thoughts and feelings have been impacted by earlier experiences.”
