Dr Jo Young
Registered Psychologist
Jo Young is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
She holds honours degrees in both Psychology and Education (School Psychology/Special Education) and obtained her PhD in 2010 from the University of Western Australia. Jo has won academic awards for her work examining facial affect interpretation in children with ADHD.
With 20 years clinical experience working with both children and adults, Jo has a special interest in the management of:

Jo employs a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, and Mindfulness. Therapy is designed to meet the needs of the client and is not a one size fits all. When working with children Jo tailors’ therapy to meet the specific interests of the child.
